Upon leaving the tunnels the day is about to end and Kyle finds himself outside the quarantine zone, being spotted by a mother and her two sons the sun sets and Kyle lets out a Volatile scream. He attempts to contact Lena, but to no avail.

After having about a third of her health left, the Mother's mask will break and she will start using scream attacks as well. The best way to defeat her is to wait for her to attack, dodge, and then strike while she is still striking the air. She can take quite a punch and dodges attacks the way virals do. After defeating all the Mother variants, the "true" Mother appears. The first attacks are powerful and can easily cut through the Mother and her variants in front of the player, but be mindful of the ones from the sides. "The fumes are powerful here, aren't they? They penetrate the skin. If chosen to comply, Crane and the Mother will walk to a nearby chamber where Crane activates a nuclear warhead, thus completing the quest. Along the way, a fair bit of loot can be gathered, such as a DIY grenade, four Medkits, and some weapons. The Mother will speak to Crane during the walk, giving her backstory. Use the door and head inside to find the hallway littered with corpses of Rais's men and the Faceless. If Fatin and Tolga were helped during Rocket Waggoon, they will also contact Crane at this point.
There are several ways to get to the required door, such as by driving up the dam with the buggy and then jumping down, or through using the safe zone unlocked during Power to the People and then climbing up. Near the lighthouse, one will even use a rocket launcher, which unfortantely cannot be looted. Head over to the dam, along the way, several of Rais's men will have set up blockades with their cars. Having defeated Rais's men at the lighthouse and learning through Kaan that more of Rais's men are after The Mother, Crane contacts The Faceless after retrieving the vials. maybe Camden will be able to replicate it?
